| Govt endorsing PDP’s campaign against repealing AFSPA: BJP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 24 : It is unfortunate that PDP has decided to intensify campaign for revocation of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) and the state unit of BJP has termed this move as anti-national and the government is also endorsing the same by one or the other way. People of Jammu region should realize the game plan of PDP and separatist forces. They have termed the attitude of government "flip flop attitude toward the issue", said state BJP Spokesperson Ramesh Arora (Adv) today. He said that the stand of the government attitude of the government is flip flop attitude over the issue because they are not able to access the gravity of situation in the state. On one hand intelligence input says that over 200 Fidayeen have entered to this side of the territory from Pakistan and on the other hand we don’t have even effective laws to deal with the situation, Arora added. Referring to recent remarks from NC leader that BJP threw out of window the autonomy proposal passed by the State Legislature is an insult, BJP leader Ramesh Arora said that State Chief Minister Omar Abdullah should not behave in a irresponsible manner rather should be determined to tackle the militancy at all caste as no dialogue is possible unless and until the gun culture is compelled to surrender. Ramesh Arora further made it clear that no move of Kashmir-centric leaders will be allow to culminate against the interest of the state and that of the country. Arora has appealed the Centre government to take a firm stand over the issue and not to allow any one to dilute the AFSPA in any matter as BJP would not allow any one to demoralize security forces.
