| Parent- teacher meet at GWC Parade | | |

Jammu, Aug 25: The IQAC of Government College for Women Parade Ground organized a parent-teacher meet under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Savitri Sharma. The meet was attended by the senior faculty members, members of IQAC of the college and the parents.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. M.S. Pathania, Convenor, IQAC, formally welcomed the parents and highlighted various achievements of the college and the activities of IQAC. He also sought the active support, valuable suggestions and co-operation of the parents for the academic excellence and welfare of the college.
While expressing satisfaction over academic excellence of the college, the parents put forward various suggestions that included introduction of Honor’s courses, improvement in transport services for the students, orientation and counseling of students while changing streams and detailed information about Add-on-courses in the college prospectus.
The meeting ended on a healthy note that teachers and parents can play a collective and constructive role to make the students technically, scientifically and globally superior and ethically strong. The vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Meenu Mahajan.
