| Anganwadi workers holds demonstration | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 25: Akhnoor Anganwadi workers welfare association, held demonstration/ dharna rally at Akhnoor in support of their long pending demands because the state govt failed the accede the genuine demands of workers. Workers from Akhnoor and Khour block participated in programme, As per a release addressing the workers senior leader Lakshman Ravinder Singh Vijay Chandel, Swarna Choudhary, Neelam Kumari, Ashok Choudhary demanded the govt to increase the salary of workers as at present the workers are getting Rs. 60/- and helpers Rs 20/- per day whereas the prices of all commodities has gone very high. He cautioned the workers to the beware from anti-union elements, because the anti-union elements are weakening the trade union movement in the country the release added.
