| YNC holds interaction with college, university students | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 25: Youth National Conference today organized one day students interactions programme with students of various colleges and university of Jammu under the leadership of Surinder Singh Bunty, provincial president Youth NC.
As per a release, Rattan Lal Gupta, provincial president NC, Aslam Goni political advisor to Dr. Farooq Abdullah listened to the grievances of the students. Who highlighted various problems being faced by the student community at various levels.
Students unanimously criticized some vested interests who are provoking students in the name of central university and are trying to create wedge on regional lines. Whereas the national conference leadership is committed for having the Central University at Jammu. It was also demanded that reorganization of Pahari Board at the earliest so that the students of these areas may be granted scholarships and the seats in various P.G. Departments in Jammu University.
Aslam Goni while addressing the students appealed them to be cautious from communal fascist faces who have always tried to divide people on communal and regional lines. Rattan Lal Gupta while in interaction with the students, said that National Conference believes in the equal development of all three regions and never believe in the politics of diving people on regional lines. He said the president Govt. under the leadership of Omar Abdullah is committed in resolving till the problems of Youth particularly the problems of youth particularly the problem of unemployment the release added.
