| JKNPP signature campaign for CU enters 12th day | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 26- To impress upon the Centre and the state government for ending six decades discrimination with people of Jammu Province and setting up Central University at Jammu, JKNPP activists continued their signature campaign on 12th straight day here today. The activists led by party General Secretary Anita Thakur organized the campaign at City Chowk today. The JKNPP leader said that a high level Central team had visited the proposed site for the Central University at Samba and accordingly sanction was granted for it some four months back, but till date the state government has not moved an inch in this direction. They said that instead NC- Congress coalition ministers created confusion to dilute the issue by opening Central University office at Srinagar which was never the demand of the people nor it was reflected any where in the initial stage. This is not first time in the political history of Jammu Province when the NC-Congress ministers have not betrayed the Dogras. It is deliberate attempt to create political chaos in the trouble torn state, they pointed out. The party claimed that hundreds of people signed the white sheet rolled supporting ‘Central University’ in Jammu, Delimitation of Assembly Constituencies so that political justice is done to the people of Jammu Province and dismissal of tainted ministers officially involved in land grabbing, sex scandal and other rackets so that corruption is weeded out in the state. Those who participated in today’s signature campaign included Bansi Lal Sharma Political Advisor to JKNPP, Rajinder Manhas, Ravinder Singh Jamwal, Manoj Gupta, Provincial Secretary (Young Panthers), Naveen Bali and Ajeet Chand. The party is holding its signature campaign at Satwari Chock tomorrow.
