Kathua, Aug 26- In exercise of powers vested in him under Section 144 of Cr. PC, Additional District Magistrate, D.R. Sharma, has issued prohibitory orders around Vaishno Devi Mandir for a period of two months.
According to the order, use of use of alcohol( except in the bar room of tourist Dak bunglow, Dayalachack), eating of meat, use of Tobacco and narcotic drugs etc, performing of funeral rites except in cremation ground and parking of vehicles, has been prohibited within 300 meter area around Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir Langerial (Dyalachak) Hiranagar.
Any body violating this order shall be prosecuted under Section 188 of the RPC, the order said. This Order shall remain in force for a period of two months
