College local fund-daily wager threaten to protest

JAMMU, Aug 26: A meeting of the local fund daily wagers of all city colleges and rural colleges held at Jammu and thread bare discussed the SRO 64 dated 16-03-2009 issued by the higher education department, where in govt has imposed un-wanted condition for their regularization of local fund employees. The meeting it was felt that this kind of discriminatory order deprived the local fund employees to become permanent, who are working in the colleges for the last more than 7 years and above.
The meeting of the local fund employees of various colleges pledge in one voice and decided to hold a massive Dahrna on 16-9-2009 in front of GGM Science College Jammu against the injustice with the local fund employees to impose qualification bar to the govt to deprive for their regularization and demand from the govt. to exempt qualification bar from those who are working in colleges before issued of this discriminatory notification. SRO 64.
The member of the association Daler Singh, Dev Raj, Subash chander, Shamsher Singh, Raj Kumar, Ram Lal, Vijay Kumar, Rashpal Lal, Majoor Hussain, Rakesh Kumar, Jagjeet singh, Yonous, Sunil Handoo, Shakuntral Devi, Pawan Kumar, Sunil Pandita, Anil Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Navneet Bakshi, Chaman Lal demand to the higher education department, to submit the list of local fund/casual daily rated workers to govt who has constituted a committee for regularization of casual daily rated workers as these local fund employees appointed against the local fund scheme and exempt from the SRO 64.
It was further discussed that one college principal who is un-necessary harassing the local fund employees and asked the concerned principal to mend his irrational attitude towards the poor local fund employees otherwise the local fund employees will come out in support of the injustice meted with them.
