| RDS hails employment package for Kashmiri migrants | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 27- Welcoming the employment package announced by the state government for the Kashmiri migrants Ashok Koul Chairman J&K Rural Development Society (Migrant Cell) has expressed the hope that the package would be implemented soon for the benefit of the unemployed migrant youth.
In a statement issued here today Kaul urged the Government to take more steps for rehabilitation of the Kashmiri migrants who have been living in exile for the last two decades. He also impressed upon the government to construct dwelling units at the district headquarters in Kashmir valley to enable the migrants to return to Valley at the earliest. He said the Chief Minister’s political Advisor Mubarak Gul will be shortly visiting the migrant and non-migrant camps to take stock of their problems
Koul appealed to the community members to avoid wasteful expenditure on marriages and curbing the growing social evils. He said the youth could play a vital role in this direction.
