| Prof Singh meets HRD Minister on CU issue | | Signature campaign enters 13th day today | | Early Times report Jammu, Aug 27- Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman of National Panthers Party and Member of NIC called on Union Minister for Human Resources Kapil Sabha in New Delhi and discussed the issue of setting up Central University in the State. According to a party hand out Bhim is reported to have suggested a formula for settling the University row in the state. He has suggested opening of Central University at Jammu with free option to the Central Government to open the Urdu University Campus in Kashmir Valley. Prof. Singh said that during Amarnath Shrine Board land row he had made the proposal to seek peaceful end of the conflict. He succeeded with the cooperation of Shankercharya of Puri, Sri Sri Ravishanker and Mufti-e-Azam of Kashmir to work out a final solution for the land row. Prof Singh also spoke to senior Kashmir leaders in the Valley on the subject. In the meantime the signature campaign launched by the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party in support of establishment of CU in Jammu entered 13th day today. The party activists under the leadership of General Secretary Anita Thakur continued its on going signature campaign at Satwari Chowk today. Thousands of people are supporting the JKNPP’s ongoing campaign. The other prominent leaders present on the occasion were Bansi Lal Sharma (Political Advisor to JKNPP), Naresh Chib, Naveen Bali, Ajeet Chand and Seema Devi.
