| Dir YSS reviews district-wise progress | | |
JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 29 - Director Youth Services and Sports Mr. Ravinder Gupta today convened a meeting with officers of Youth Services and Sports Department (YSS) of Jammu region to review district-wise activities made under various programmes during the current financial year.
Divisional Youth Services and Sports Officer Mr. Madan Lal and District Youth Services and Sports Officers of Poonch, Rajouri, Doda, Udhampur, Kathua and Jammu were also present in the meeting.
Mr. Gupta took detailed review of activities made under various programmes like work done report of activities alongwith Physical and Financial achievements, status report of work undertaken during 2005-06 in district/state sector, status of works undertaken in district sector 2006-07 alongwith estimate costs, status of centrally sponsored schemes which schemes stands now closed by Central government, Non-receipt of MPRs under non-plan schemes, proposal for eleventh five year plan, budget proposals for 2007-08 and revised estimates 2006-07, consolidation at divisional level, expenditure statement ending 07, 2006 (Plan/Non-plan), detail of 50% pooled games fund for 2004-06, audit inspection reports, status report of decisions of district development board meetings, list of vacancies of PETs/PEMs school wise, list of PETs/PEMs with MPED degrees, list of attached PETs/PEMs, list of officers/officials retiring within next 2 years, stay of PEMs/PETs with previous 3 postings, proposals for construction of youth hostel under CSS and constitution of youth clubs at block level.
The Directed asked the field officers to strictly monitor the functioning of department in their respective districts and asked the officers to aware the students about sports activities being provided under various programmes launched by state and central governments so that they took part in national/internal level games. |
