| Cong demands double shift work on under ground pipes project | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 28: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed concern over slow pace of work of laying of underground pipes in Jammu City. As per a release, PCC vice president Thakur Hari singh said that the slow pace of wok of laying under ground pipes in the city has caused hardships to the people. It has become difficult to walk on foot or by vehicle in the busy Jewel Chowk, Bus Stand Road, Raghunath Bazaar, City Chowk, Hari Market and other areas of the city. Sing suggested that such types of work should be undertaken on war footing i.e. in double shift basis and at night hours so that common man should not suffer. He urged upon the concerned authorities to complete the work before the festivals of Dusherra, Eid and Diwali when a large number of people will be visiting these temples, the release said.
