| JDA in collaboration with JTOA starts operation clean | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, AUGUST 28: Jammu Development Authority (JAD) finally has decided to provide neat and clean atmosphere to the pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi by extending them clean and neat atmosphere in the City of Temples. In collaboration with Jammu Taxi Operators Association (JTOA) who will provide taxies to the pilgrims at reasonable rates from even at the door steps of Railway Station Jammu. Sources informed that earlier at the venue where from the taxi operators will operate their cabs was occupied by the Rehriwalas who were selling cooked meet and allied verities to their customers. But once a pilgrim used to come out of Railway Station had have his first look at these non vegetarian vendors and get their mood off. As there are all most the pilgrims who did not take non vegetarian foods. “We are paying rent to JDA as space has been already allotted to us and we are committed to provide neat, clean and accountable ervices to the customers who are largely the pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi” said JTOA Chairman Inderjeet Sharma and added that earlier there was not hygienic atmosphere out of Railway Station but after JTOA took the reigns, they immediately constructed a park and arranged enquiry stall at Vaishno Dam Taxi Stand for the convince the pilgrim for right directions. Despite efforts authorities of JDA could not be contacted to have their comment.
