| Awareness camp on Swine Flue | | | Early Times report Rajouri Aug 28- Society for Environmental Protection and Human Rights (SEPHR) in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rajouri and with the active support of Health Department organized one day awareness program at Higher Secondary School, Sailsui, Kalakote on the topic of “Awareness of Swine Flu (H1N1 Virus) among School Students.” Maj. Satish Hange of 63 RR was the chief guest at the function while Anil Gujral Principal Higher Secondary School Sailsui presided. Several NGOs, social and political leaders, women activists, panchayat members, teachers and students took part in the program. Satish Syal, General Secretary, SEPHR in which welcome address highlighted the objectives of organizing the program.. Expert lecture on Swine Flu was delivered by Dr. Sunil Sharma. He informed the gathering that there is nothing to worry about swine flue but there is need of awareness on disease as medicines for treatment of swine flu are available. He further said that it is fully curable disease but there is need of timely awareness, treatment and prevention. Speaking on the occasion Major Satish Hange, Company Commander, 63 RR has stressed upon the students for creating awareness on various communicable diseases and maintaining personnel hygiene to get rid of various seasonal as well as communicable diseases. He welcomed the step of SEPHR and Principal concerned for organizing such a program.
