Jammu, Aug 29: Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh, NCP president has criticized Digvijay Singh and Satyavarthi Chaturvedi, Congress general secretaries for suggesting merger on NCP with Congress party. In a statement issued here today, Singh said that NCP is an important coalition partner in the UPA govt which has got its own identity and agenda for progress and prosperity of the people. He added that the uncalled for suggestions of merger suggested will harm the process of consolidation of secular and progressive forces in the country, he added.
