| KVIB awareness camp at Pampore | | |
Srinagar, September 29 – The Khadi and Village Industries Board Pulwama organized an awareness camp at Pampore. Among others some bankers also participated in the function. Mr. Mohammad Anwar Bhat Board Member was chief guest on this occasion.
The District Officer, KVIB Pulwama while giving the details of achievements of KVIB in the district said that under Rural Employment Generation programme the board provided Rs.957.55 lacs as loan to 406 entrepreneurs and released Rs.287.85 lacs as margin money in favour of these beneficiaries for establishment of their units and also provided employment opportunities to about 3500 rural artisans from 1998 up to ending August 2006.
Mr. Mohammad Anwar Bhat inaugurated the unit of Dry fruit scheme and presented 2nd installment of margin money cheque of Rs.58,400/- to unit holder. |
