| DDC reviews physical, financial achievements | | |
UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 29 -The District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Mr. O.P. Kalandria has stressed upon the officers to put in their best efforts to achieve results both physically and financially in the implementation of schemes within the stipulated time to comply the instructions of the Chief Minister given at Cabinet-cum-District Development Board meeting.
He was addressing a meeting of district officers of various departments held to review the achievements registered so far in the district especially by the engineering departments in particular, here today.
The Additional District Development Commissioner, Mr. Khurshid Ahmed Bhat, Chief Planning Officer, Udhampur, Mr. Z.A. Bandey, Executive Engineers of PHE, PWD and Divisional Forest Officers attended the meeting.
The officers of engineering departments while assuring the DDC of registering 80 achievement on the ground by ending October, this year, said that they are facing difficulties in transportation of material from one place to other as the load carriers provided by the SRTC authorities are indirectly reluctant to drop material at far off hilly places of the district. They suggested the chair to sort out solution of this problem by convening a meeting with SRTC authorities for the purpose.
Regarding forest clearance cases of road projects, the DDC emphasized upon the Divisional Forest Officers of different Forest Divisions of the district to expedite pending forest clearance cases of various new road projects in the district under different schemes for timely execution of work on these projects. |
