| Army dedicates ‘community hall’ to locals | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 1: As part of its ongoing endeavours for society development under Operation Sadbhavana, the Army today dedicated a community hall to the people of Nagotra constituency of Jammu district. The community hall has been constructed by 116 Engineer Regiment for the residents of Nagrota under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’. While handling over the keys of the Community Hall, the Commanding Officer said that the Army remained committed towards peace and development of the State. Virender Sharma, President Nagrota Constituency Development Committee who were present on the occasion said that the new Community Hall has fulfilled a long standing requirement of the villagers of Lower Nagrota and adjoining settlements. The villagers were appreciative of the efforts of the Army in alleviating their problems and hoped that the good work done by the Armed Forces will be replicated in other areas also to bring a positive change in Society. A large number of senior citizens and Army Officers and Jawans were also present on the occasion.
