| SVO presents challan against Ex-PA to Dy. Director Employment | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Sept 01- State Vigilance Organization today produced challan before Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar against Mohammad Maqbool Shakir son of Mubarakh Shah of Hushroo Chadoora, then P.A. to Deputy Director Employment Exchange Srinagar. The accused had accepted an amount of Rs 2000 as illegal gratification from the complainant Mohammad Maqbool Lone for processing release of employment loan case.
On March 28, 2008 by Mohammed Maqbool Lone son of Abdul Rehman Lone of Bhagwanpora, Lal Bazaar, Srinagar lodged a written complaint alleging therein that he had applied for loan under Self Employment Scheme for purchasing of vehicle and the PA of Deputy Director Employment, Srinagar was demanding Rs.2000 as illegal gratification from him for processing the loan file. The State Vigilance Organization after registering a case laid a trap and caught red-handed accused Mohammed Maqbool Shakir while demanding and accepting bribe money. After completion of the investigation, the Vigilance Organization produced challan against the alleged accused person. JNF
