Udhmapur Sept 01- Three persons were killed while seventeen others were critically injured, in Mini bus, accident at Bashat on Chenani Sudh Mahadev road in Udhampur , today.
According to reports the Mini bus bearing registration number JK14A/5497, which was on way from Chenani to Sudh Mahadev, fell into the deep 200 feet gorge at village Bashat when driver failed to negotiate a sharp curve killing three persons on spot and critically injuring 17 others.
Those killed in the accident were identified as Shamsher Singh, Alif Din and Sawetri Devi all residents of Bashat. Those injured included Kalshoo Devi , Udham Singh , Sudesh Kumar , Vidya Devi , Manu, Mohan Lal , Zalim Singh , Chanchloo Devi , Hem Raj , Yog Raj , Seema Devi ,Hazroo , Akhil and Ashant . Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
