| 5 lakh signatures on CU being presented to PM: Bhim | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 2- Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman JKNPP has appreciated the work done by party workers for collecting five lakh signatures for establishment of Central University in Jammu region. He also announced that the team involved in the campaign shall be present in New Delhi when the party leaders would meet the Prime Minister next week to present memorandum for setting up CU in Jammu, delimitation of Assembly constituencies and dismissal of tainted minister with immediate effect.
Prof Singh appreciated the work done by the party workers in Jammu under the leadership of Anita Thakur and in the districts under the leadership of District Presidents.
In the meantime Prof Singh has appointed Shiv Charan Singh, as District President of Samba with immediate effect with a team of nine other office bearers in the district.
He also condemned lathi charge on the students inside GGM. Science College here yesterday and demanded immediate withdrawal of police from educational institutions.
