| Shaheen hails Omar’s decision | | | Early Times Report
Banihal Sept 2- General Secretary National Conference District Ramban Haji Sajjad Shaheen has hailed the chief minister Omar Abdullah for his decision regarding 24 hours opening of Jawahar tunnel, the main surface link between the Kashmir valley and rest of the world on the Srinagar-Jammu highway.
He appreciated Omar’s decision in the larger interest of common people. By keeping the tunnel open for 24 hours it will enable smooth flow of vehicular traffic to and fro. Besides school and college going students will be able to attend their classes in time regularly.
Lauding sincere affords of Omar Abdullah in regularizing contractual and adhoc employees Shaheen expressed satisfaction and hoped that all the sections will be treated sympathetically similar to these announcements.
