Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 2: As a part of anti encroachment drive started by the Jammu municipal corporation the field staff of enforcement wing led by the chief enforcement officer along with police force carried out drive and removed encroachments made by the shopkeepers by keeping the goods articles in front of their shop by encroaching upon payments, footpaths etc from BC road, Maheshpura, Bakshi Nagar, Rehari Colony, Subash Nagar, Jewel areas. During the drive four mini trucks loads of material like weighing scale, counters, benches, baskets, chairs umbrellas, wooden benches, tarpal, sign boards, and aluminum stair etc were seized on spot. The team also seized 12 number of reheries found along without licences. The commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation has asked the shopkeepers/ owners of business establishments to keep their goods/ articles within their own premises and also the rehri owners/ hawkers to seek the licences from the Jammu municipal corporation to avoid seizure and penal action against them under the provisions of J&K municipal corporation act 2000.
