JAMMU, AUG 2: Provincial President National Conference Rattan Lal Gupta on Wednesday nominated various districts heads to highlight the issues pertaining to the peasant community.
Balwant Singh Jammu Rural (A) Chairman, Janak Raj Sadhotra Jammu Rural (B) Tejinder Singh Chairman Samba, Kewal Singh Chairman Billawar, Ramesh Chander Sharma Chairman Kathua, Prem Nath Nammi Udhampur, Janak Singh Reasi, Mohd. Amin Malik Chairman Doda, Mohd, manwar Khanday Kishtwar, Chail Singh Ramban, Abdul hameed rajouri, Sat Pal Choudary Rajouri Rural and Rahim Dad Chairman Poonch.
Gupta said that main objective of constituting Kissan Cell is to reach out to the farmers for addressing of their legitimate demands. He said that surevy is being done by the teams constituted to assess the losses of farmers and once assessment is over government will sanction compensation to the farmers for their damaged crops.
