| Tarigami demands enhancement of monthly cash relief to migrants | | | Early Times Report Srinagar Sept 04- The CPI(M) State Secretary and MLA Kulgam M.Y.Tarigami has urged upon the government to recommend enhancement of monthly cash assistance in favour of the migrants putting up in Jammu and other parts of the country. He said that migrants have been living under sub-human conditions in the camps and proper civic, school and medical facilities need to be upgraded in the camps at Jammu. He said that due to steep hike in the prices of essential commodities and medicines there is urgent need for enhancement of monthly cash assistance in favour of migrants. He re-iterated that rent in favour of those migrant relief holders who have been putting up in rented accommodation need to be provided. CPI (M) leader also urged upon the government to implement the order of the High Court for release of HRA and CCA in favour of the migrant employees. He stressed upon the authorities to hold negotiations with the migrants who have been holding dharnas in support of their demands at different camps at Jammu
