| Saroori calls on Azad, discusses developmental issues | | | Early Times Report
September 5: Minister for R&B, Mr. G.M.Saroori met the Union Health Minister, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad yesterday and discussed various issues relating to the development of the State. Apart from improving the existing medicare facilities in the State, Mr Saroori sought opening of Primary Health Centers (PHC) in the erstwhile district Doda with cent percent funding from the Centre besides relief package for drought hit farmers of the district.
Mr. Azad assured the Minister that Union Health Ministry would take every step to create health infrastructure in the district, adding that matter regarding relief package to the drought affected farmers would be taken up with Union Agriculture Minister.
