| Arrangements finalized for smooth conduct of ASSI elections | | |

A very keen contest for the office bearers of the association of small scale industries, Gangyal is on the cards with twelve candidates left in the fray for six posts namely Rajesh Jain and Rakesh Gupra for President Satinder Gupta and Anil Gupta for senior vice president Bansi Lal Gupta and Jugal Kishore Guta for Vice President, Tejwant Singh Reen and Virender Jain for General Secretary, Pardeep Viad and Pankaj Jain for Secretary & Vijay Sharma and Sandeep Ohri for Treasurer.
The pooling shall be held on 4th of October at he ASSI Complex Industrial Area Gangyal. Aheavy turn out is expected in view of the fact that after a gap of more than 12 years all the six posts are being contested.
The Election Committee comprising 5 members namely Ashok Pandoh, Ajit Khajuria, Abhay Pargal, Capt. Vijay Duggal met under the chairmanship of K.K.Khosa the Election Commissioner to finalize the arrangements for conduct of smooth polls on 4th of October, 2006. The Election Committee has requested the members to collect their Entry Cards well before the due date so that last minute hassle can be avoided.
