| JKBank – BAGICL health camp evokes healthy response | | |

JAMMU, September 6: J&K Bank in collaboration with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited organized a Health Awareness Camp here today. The Camp was inaugurated by Kavinder Gupta, Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation who was also the Chief Guest on the occasion. Madan Gupta, Vice President, JK Bank Central Zone was also present as the Guest of Honor. The Health Awareness Camp witnessed an enthusiastic response from the general public of Jammu who turned out in large numbers for availing the facility.
ECG, Blood Sugar (Random), Eye Check Up, BMI, Blood Pressure etc were conducted free of cost and the test reports were instantaneously provided to the concerned. Free consultation was also provided by a dietician & General Physician. Notably, Dr. Sushil Kotru, Senior Physician was approached for medical/paramedical staff and infrastructural support for running the camp.
Commenting on this initiative, Kavinder Gupta said, “This is a good initiative to encourage people to get regular check-ups done and live a healthy life. We wish to have many more such similar Health Awareness Camps in the coming future in other locations of Jammu as well.” Maheep Gupta, Area Manager – Jammu, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance said “most people follow a very hectic lifestyle, which takes a toll on their health. Through this Health Awareness Camp, we aim to help them lead a healthy lifestyle and live to the fullest, in the ‘Jiyo Befikar’ manner.” Madan Gupta, Vice President and Zonal Head Jammu (Central Zone) said, “This initiative has helped us to reach out to more customers in Jammu and make them aware of our offerings in the Health Insurance sector.”
It is worth mentioning that J&K Bank has been playing a lead role in the state by supporting various socio-economic activities under its CSR aspect. The bank has always been on the forefront to support poor and needy and build infrastructure for the convenience of general public. Besides, be it environment protection initiative, preserving water bodies or preserving cultural heritage of the state, the bank has always been proactive with its support. Later the mementoes were presented to the Chief Guest & the Guest of Honor by Maheep Gupta to commemorate the occasion.
