| Excursion flagged off at Kargil under Sadhbhavna | | |

Kargil, 6 Sep- GOC of ‘Forever In Operations’ Formation and Executive Councilor ,Agriculture and Revenue , Haji Ghulam Amir flagged off an excursion for school children and elders of Kargil District with a lot of fanfare and excitement amongst the locals.
The excursion which is being organized under Operation Sadhbhavna is being conducted by the “The First Of Bofors” Veer Rajput, Sarvatra Vijay (Gunners) with a view to provide a common platform for the people from far flung areas of this District as also to build bridges of friendship and help the people to join the main stream.
Speaking on the occasion of the excursion GOC mentioned that the main aim of this trip is to give exposure to the locals of the district with regards to the progress of the country achieved after the independence and how people are living ahead of Zojilla. The entourage will be visiting Jammu, Delhi, Agra and industrial centres in Gurgaon.
The locals collectively said that this trip will be an eye opener for us as we will be going around the country and interacting with the President of India. Executive Councilor Haji Ghulam Amir thanked the formation for such initiatives towards the development of this far flung region of the country.
Hamida Bano told KT correspondent that the students are grateful to army and they all of decided to put their best to join the army as officers and serve the nation as the students of Kargil are being exposed to such developmental programs which surely would have not been there had army not broght the Sadhbhavna project to this region of the country, Jai Hind.
The tour comprises of 28 school children, school staff and couple of elders.
