| PCC demands enhancement in cash relief of KPs | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 9: Shadi Lal Pandita- General Secretary PCC (Minority Cell), J&K and President Soan Kashmir Front, demanded enhancement of the cash relief in respect of the migrants. KP migrants have been organizing dharnas at various places in camps and non camp. Vividly market has gone abnormally high and to maintain a family within the amount of Rs. 4000/- per month per family is impracticable. Though the government has made it public that the employment of the Kashmiri Pandit youth will be made soon in accordance and in tune with the employment package announced by the PM of India, Manmohan Singh, an appeal was made by Pandita to the Omar Abdullah to create 15000 posts for the Kashmiri Pandit migrants in the government and private sector. He apprised that the Kashmiri Pandit Youth are willing and are ready to take jobs in the Valley. As the unemployment has remained a killing factor for the KPs for all these 20 years and as such the government needs to add place in creating and filing the post with relaxations, added Pandita.
