BANIHAL, SEPTEMBER 09 Ghulam Nabi Khan was elected un-opposed as the President of Municipal Committee Banihal. Only one application form was received and he was elected as un-opposed on September 05, 2009.
Meanwhile in the election of Vice President of Municipal Committee Ramban is scheduled to be held on Date of filling nomination papers has been fixed on 11-09-2009 while scrutiny of nominations papers will be conducted on September 12. The nomination papers can be withdrawn on September 14, 2009 upto 4 p. m. The elections if necessary will be held on September 15, 2009 at 1 p. m at Municipality Committee Office Ramban.
