| YAIKS for early implementation of employment package | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 10-Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) has once again asked the state government to implement the employment package at the earliest as assured. Addressing media persons here today, R K Bhat, president, YAIKS expressed hope that the employment package shall be implemented in near future as assured by the Finance Minister A R Rather and Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla. He said that on the assurance of National Conference president and Union Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah and Finance Minister A R Rather the strike has been called off from September 7. He said that Finance Minister had made it amply clear that due to the budget session the administration was awfully busy resulting delay in implementation of the package. Bhat said that Revenue department has sent a memo to the State cabinet for final approval which is expected in the ensuing cabinet meeting or the next. The president categorically said that youth is prepared to serve in Kashmir Valley and therefore excuses and lame excuses made by the politicians and apprehensions expressed by the Government have no substance. He said YAIKS expresses gratitude to the Revenue and Relief Minister for taking keen interest regarding employment package to KPs youth.
