| Chib honours Natrang team; announces Rs. 25,000 award | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 10- The artists of Natrang who are going to participate in six International Theatre festivals being held in Russia, Germany and Hungary were felicitated for their historic cultural achievement by Minister for Medical Education R.S Chib.
He announced an Award of rupees 25,000 as a token of appreciation and encouragement. Expressing gratitude on behalf of Natrang, Balwant Thakur hoped that more people will come in support of Natrang to recognize the services rendered by the group in the development of culture in the state.
Today’s two shows of Ghumayee werre presented at Abhinav Theatre. The first show was sponsored by Heritage School, Jammu which was witnessed by the students of School in addition to the students of SOS home. The evening show was witnessed by large number of general public who enjoyed this world class theatrical wonder thoroughly.
Natrang is currently presenting 12 shows of the play at Abhinav Theatre and Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu only with the mission that people of Jammu can avail this golden opportunity to see this historic cultural happening of the town. After putting up these regular shows Natrang group will leave for Russia on the evening of September 18, 2009.
