| Two CRPF jawans killed, 11 others sustain injuries in separate road mishaps | | |
JAMMU SEPT-29- Two CRPF jawans were killed and nine others sustained injuries in an accident in Kishtwar of Doda district while two ITBP jawans got injured when a truck collided with their vehicle at Sher Bibi.
The reports said that a Matador NO JK06-853 on way to Mati Mahal to Kishtwar turned turtle and fell into a Nallah at Bhander Kote resulting on the spot death of two CRPF jawans and injuries to nine others.
The jawans killed in the accident have been identified as Gurpreet Singh and Vijay Kumar Sharma. Of the injured, five jawans were shifted to GMC Hospital here.
The reports said that after the mishap the matador driver fled from the spot.
Police is investigating the matter.
In another accident two ITBP jawans namely Inspector Bhupinder Singh and Inspector Jaswant Singh suffered injuries when the vehicle in which they were traveling in collided with a vehicle on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at Sher Bibi today.
Both the injured were later shifted to Emergency Hospital Banihal.
