RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 12 -Member Parliament Jammu–Poonch parliamentary constituency, Mr. Madan Lal Sharma and MOS for CA&PDS, Transport Mr. Shabir Ahmed Khan have congratulated people on the holy month of Ramzan.
Mr. Sharma said that these festive occasions bring people closer and strengthen the bonds of unity and brotherhood. Mr. Madan Lal Sharma was addressing an Iftar party hosted by management of Baba Dudha Dhari temple. He added that our state has a unique social fabric and for generations people have shown mutual respect for each others religions and celebrated various festivals with same zeal and enthusiasm promoting love, tolerance and harmony He appealed people unite and contribute in making society a better place to live in. He hoped that people would adhere to cherished ideal of the great religion and strive for the harmonious society where every body lives with honour and dignity.
Minister for State for CAPD and Transport, Mr. Shabir Ahmed Khan while extending his warm wishes said that Islam stands for peace and emphasizes universal brotherhood, truth and compassion. He said that holy month of Ramzan will further cement bonds of love and amity among all sections of society living together since time immemorial. He said that people should pray on this auspicious occasion for complete peace in the entire state so that development initiatives can be extended to the every nook and corner of the state.
Among others District Development Commissioner, S. Jaipal Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Mr Shokat Batali, District officers and prominent citizens were present the occasion.
