| IRP 9th Bn Celebrates Raising Day | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 12 – IRP 9th Bn. celebrated its Raising Day at Battalion headquarter Ramban the other day. Senior Police and Civil Officers and prominent citizens graced the occasion.
Dilbag Singh IPS IGP Armed J&K who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, during his address lauded the role of Armed Police in dealing with law and order and other operations. On this occasion firing, weapon handling, parade, turnout, sports items, slogan writing, Shayari, joking typing, cooking and eating competitions were held and all the winners were rewarded. Remeowned dramatists Mushtaq Kak presented his one act play “ Toba Tek Singh” which was appreciated by all besides other cultural programmes were also presented. The chief guest and the special guest distributed rewards among the winners and other participants.
Warm Grteetins were conveyed by DGP, Kuldeep Khoda and DGP Prisons, Mr A. K Bhan on the occasion. After the completion of programme Iftiyar party was arranged in which all the officers of District Police, Civil administration including DIG DKR, Mr Deepak Kumar, D.C Batote, Ramban Kulbushan Mangotra and respectable citizens attended the function.
