On the traumatic night of 12th July, CRPF Jawans and officers saved the life of a lady and a child in the midst of operation.
The patrol/naka party of CRPF 150 bn on the night of 12th July on haring the sound of firing and on receiving consequent inputs from police came to know that police and SOG parties were operating in Mangnar, where these was an encounter going on with the terrorists at village Kanhaiyan, but taking the cover of darkness the terrorists had managed to escape, sources said
After this , two persons of Lachmora informed the CRPF camp that terrorists had killed and injured some persons . Under the command of their sub inspector a strong party of CRPF men rushed to the spot and carried twoinjured (Sunita Devi 35 and Damini 8yrs) . On their shoulders and brought them down the two km stretch , sleep hill in rainy dark night with care and Canton district hospital Poonch, where they were treated properly sot that both got a new life, the sources added.
On the other hand Coy Commander CRPF Rishikesh Cordoned off the area in the company of police, Shyam –Chand De, 2nd- in-command CRPF with quich reaction team along with troops and officers reached the spot and controlled the whole operation.
