Third Front is dead before it was born

Early Times Report
Jammu,September 15 :- The proposed third front is dead before it was born. The ida had been mooted by Democratic peoples party chief,G.H.Mir,Leftist leader ,M.Y.Tarigami,Chief of Peoples Democratic Forum,Mohd.Hakim Yaseen before the start of the Assembly election process last year. The three had announced that soon after the election results were out the third Front would be formed.
Even till the beginning of the current year the three had not given up their search for forming the third front.Mir would say that the third front was necessary. However, after Mir was inducted in the cabinet the exercise had been dropped. When asked to comment on it Mir avoided a comment. He simply said that "nothing definite can be said about it." Asked whether the the plan has been dropped Mir smiled.
In fact after He was inducted in the cabinet and Yaseen and Tarigami extended their support to the National Conference led Government the t rio had no moral ground to work for the formation of the third front.Inside reports said that soon after the election results were out the three developed cold feet towards the third front formation scheme.Mir and Yaseen had expected that their parties will do well in the election so was the case with Tarigami. However each one of them won one seat which left them no scope for roping in established political leaders.
Even then the three, especially Mir,had hoped that disgruntled elements in the PDP,National Conference and the Congress would quit their organisations and join the third front.Thre was no such development and if some resigned from the NC they joined the PDP and those who deser ted the PDP joined either the NC or the Congress.Sensing that there was no scope left for the third front to take birth the idea was aborted.(eom)
