Jammu, Sep 15: On the auspicious occasion of ‘Hindi Diwas’ Raj Bhasha fortnight was celebrated in NABARD Jammu and Kashmir Regional Office from 1st to 14th September. M.L. Sukhdeve, Chief General Manager, appealed all the staff members to do their maximum routine work in Raj Bhasha only. On the occasion, messages of Home Minister, Government of India was read by U.C. Sarangi, Chairman, NABARD and Dr. K.G. Karmakar, Managing Director, NABARD respectively. In his message, Sukhdeve emphasized that people should not only work in Hindi but make it a part of our day to day life. During the fortnight, for the promotion of Hindi, innovative Hindi-competitions were organized. Chief General Manager presented a memento to the chief guest. A poetic recitation competition was also organized in which staff members of NABARD, read out their as well as, poems of prominent Hindi poets
