GDS Employees protest for pay revision.

Jammu, Sep 15: Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) of the India Post held a massive demonstration at the office of the CPMG, J&K Circle Jammu demanding wage revision as per 6th Pay Commission for Gramin Dak Sevaks.
Large number of GDS of IP affiliated with National Union of GDS. All India Postal Extra Department Employees assembled at Dogra Chowk amidst shouting slogans against Minister of Communication & IT. Protesters were demanding immediate approval of GDS Pay Commission. They further threatened of indefinite strike if government fails to fulfill demands by 16th September 2009. Those who also spoke on the occasion include, Charan Dass President JCA, Madan Lal Sharma Secretary, Keshav Sharma Divisional Secretary and R.K. Bhat Organizing Secretary.
