| PHE, INTUC submits memorandum to SDM | | |

Billawar, Sep 15: Shiv Kumar Sharma President Water Works (PHE) Employees Association Jammu Province and President Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) J&K State expressed anguish over the pathetic conditions of members and workers. Unions at Basholi and Billawar handed over the charter of demands to the SDM Bilawar and SDM Basholi. The demands include, enhancement of rates for CP workers/ consolidated workers, Regularization of all daily rated workers appointed and completed their year’s continuous service, release of DA @5% from January, 2009, release of one and half day salary to all the employees of PHE department being at essential service, clarification of SRO 149 of 1973, release of all dues related to Daily Wager/ CP workers/ Consolidated workers/ Need Basis workers, amendment of SRO 64 of 1994 ie abolition of post of helper after death/ retired said post utilization in SRO 43, complete and up to date list of all CP workers/ need basis workers/ latest government norms and proper maintenance to all the government building like tube well, Chowkidar Quarters and others.
