| Bajaj Allianz, JKB felicitates Balwant Thakur | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 15- Balwant Thakur an internationally acclaimed theatre director was felicitated at an impressive function held at Bajaj Allianz office here today.
Madan Gupta, Vice President, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Jammu Central presented a memento to Balwant Thakur and lauded his efforts in the field of theatre and bringing Jammu to the international arena. He also congratulated him for selection of his Dogri Play “Ghumayee” for participation in the international festival in Russia, Germany and Hungary.
In recognition of his efforts to promote art and culture in the state, Maheep Gupta area manager Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company presented a Personal Accident Policy for Rs. 10 lakhs to Balwant Thakur.
Addressing on the occasion Maheep Gupta said “We are proud to have such a celebrity among us. He got nostalgic whilst recalling his association with Natrang during its formative years and also thanked Thakur for being his mentor and guide.
