| CITU demand enhancement in labourers wages | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 15- Industrial Workers Union (CITU) has appealed the government to increase the salary of labourers so that their financial condition can be improved.
Nirdosh Uppal joint secretary J&K state community of CITU addressing a gathering of labourers criticized the government of its callous attitude towards the labour class adding that the labour laws in vogue are being blatantly misused by the administration.
Uppal regretted that the central labour laws extended to Jammu and Kashmir State are not being implemented in letter and spirit causing heart burn among the labour class. He also demanded implementation of 1965 Bonus Act
