| Niaz demands release of funds for Changa-Khaljugasar road. | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 16- Former Minister and sitting Member Legislative Assembly Bhaderwah Constituency Mohammad Sharief Niaz has expressed his dismay over the delay tactics in releasing payment in favour of labourers and contractors engaged for execution of Changa – Khaljugasar road by the J&K Project Construction Corporation.
In a statement he stated that the road work is nearing completion and the work has been executed satisfactorily.
Niaz stated that hundreds of labourers engaged by the contractor have not been paid their wages as a result of which they are facing financial starvation and mental agony. He has appealed to the Chief Minister for his intervention and getting the dues released against the work done at the earliest so that the labourers does not suffer any more on this account.
