| Omar visits Hazratbal, pays obeisance | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 17 – Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah today visited Dargah, Hazratbal to take stock of the arrangements put in place by the administration for the holy days of Shab-i-Qadar, Jummat-ul-Vida and Eid-ul-Fitr. The Chief Minister directed the divisional administration to ensure every facility to the Zaireen especially on account of transportation, water supply, electricity and healthcare. He asked the management of Waqaf Board to provide required facilities at the Shrine for the devotees. Mr. Omar on the occasion extended warm greetings to the people on the eve of Shab-i-Qadar and Jummat-ul-Vida. He said the holy days provide us ample opportunity to pray and submit to Almighty Allah for His forgiveness and blessings. He prayed for the peace, progress and welfare of the State and its people. The Minister for Rural Development, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar, Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr. Mubarak Gul, Political Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr. Devender Singh Rana, Vice Chairman, Waqaf Board, Mr. M. Y. Qadri, Director General of Police, Mr. Kuldeep Khoda, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Ms. Naseem Lankar, and other high level divisional officers were present on the occasion.
