| VHP appeals people to boycott Chinese goods | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 17: VHP today appealed to the people to boycott Chinese goods in view of "repeated" incursions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). "We appeal to people to boycott Chinese toys, edibles and electronics and other material in our country as China is daily violating our territory on the ground and in the air in Ladakh and North-East", VHP president Ramakant Dubey told reporters here.More than USD 2.5 billion are spent by the Indians of Chinese goods and India should boycott them, he said. Dubey said the situation today is "much worse" than what it was in 1962 and the chances of history being repeated cannot be ruled out. Referring to the recent statement by Foreign Minister S M Krishna that "we have no danger from China", Dubey said this speaks volumes about our politicians' "non-seriousness" about impending dangers to our country from a hostile neighbour.
