| Delink package from our return to valley: Kashmiri Pandits | | | Early Times Report Jammu: Two prominent organisations representing displaced Kashmiri Pandits today said the implementation of the package announced by the Centre should not be associated with their return to the valley and refused to cooperate with the apex body constituted by J-K government. "We declare that we will not be a party to any mechanism or body declared by the state government which ignores our genocide," the chairman of Panun Kashmir Ajay Chrungoo and president of Kashmir Samiti Delhi (KSD) L N Dhar told reporters here. The government on September 15 had constituted an apex committee headed by Minister for Revenue Raman Bhalla to monitor the effective implementation of Centre's package of Rs 1,618 crore for the return of displaced Pandits. "By announcing an apex body to monitor the return and rehabilitation of displaced Kashmiri Hindus, the government has once again demonstrated a brazen rejection of the considered view of the overwhelming majority of Pandits that all measures aimed at ameliorating the plight of the community should be delinked from their return to the valley," they alleged. We appeal to the Prime Minister to delink this package from return of Pandits to the valley, they said.
