| Farooq Abdullah visits YSR's family | | | Agencies
Hyderabad, Sept 17: Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday late evening visited the residence of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy here and offered his tributes to the departed leader.
Farooq Abdullah, who is in city to participate in a programme at Fabcity here, went to YSR's residence (Camp Office) in Begumpet area this evening and met the departed leader's wife Vijayalaxmi, son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and other family members and consoled them.
"Rajasekhara Reddy was not only a State leader, but a national figure," the National Conference patron Abdullah said while offering his condolences.
Rajasekhara Reddy and four others were killed in a helicopter crash on September 2 in Nallamala forest range in Kurnool district.
