BMS demands revision of minimum wages

Jammu, Sep 17: The Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) have demanded to revise the minimum wages and abolish the contract system of labours. Celebrating the Vishwakarma Jayant Diwas as national labour day union members of various districts of the region celebrated the day with full enthusiasm and urged upon both state and central governments to declare paid holiday on vishwakarma jayanti. Addressing the workers rally at Bari Brahmana industrial complex Ch Lakshman Davinder demanded from the state government to issue notification for revision of minimum wages as approved by the government as prices at all commodities has increased to much high and workers are living in a very poor condition.
