| JURSEA welcomes Chib’s initiatives | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Sept 17- Jammu University Research Scholar’s Executive Association ( JURSEA) has welcomed Medical Education Minister R S Chib’s recent announcement of strictly checking the entry of unauthorized people in Medical College and SMGS hospital by introducing new time schedule for visitors to these hospitals. In a statement issued here today JURSEA president Vikas Sharma said, ‘These hospitals had for the past sometime turned into centres for anti social elements resulting in many thefts and very recently a baby was also picked up from one of the wards. Such measures of streamlining the entry of genuine visitors will definitely help in maintenance of security and also increase the efficiency of the doctors. Vikas said that the medical fraternity of Jammu is a very dedicated lot and that every citizen of the state is proud of their contribution to the society. He urged the Medical Education Minister to continue with his reformatory policies which would result in improving the patient care in Jammu Hospitals. He also called upon the minister to introduce (QRMC) Quick Reaction Medical Call Centre system in the state as is prevalent in many metro cities of the country.
