| JJSF alleges malpractices in Naib Tehsildars selection list, demands inquiry | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 18: Alleging malpractices and favoritism in the selection list of Naib Tehsildars issued by Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB), Jammu Joint Students Federation has demanded an inquiry into these selections.
Criticizing the selection process, the JJSF warned to launch agitation if the selection list was not quashed and deserving and meritorious candidates incorporated in the fresh list.
Strongly condemning the selection process JJSF lambasted the Board members for showing favoritism to some candidates.
In a statement, Pushvinder Singh Manhas State President, JJSF said that the select list of Naib Tehsildars recently issued by SSRB is not at all fair and transparent and alleged that there is something fishy in these selections.
Manhas further questioned how the students having high rank and good marks in the written test could fail in the interview whereas the students having low rank/less percentage in the written test get full marks in the interview and get selected. This type of selection raises doubts in the minds of aspirants and smells that there is definitely some mischief in the matter, he added.
